♦ Includes an extruded elastomeric profile and a high-strength two-part epoxy-based structural adhesive
♦ The seal material is a high-quality, polychloroprene (neoprene) rubber
♦ Neoprene material meets ASTM D3542
♦ When inserted into joint, seals opening from the intrusion of water and debris
♦ Larger seals (greater than 2") are installed using a vacuum to depressurize and collapse the lower internal chambers, thereby facilitating ease of insertion

♦ Designed to be used alone, but can be used behind any other expansion joint cover, plate or filler where joint depth allows
♦ Depending on the application, this product can be supplied un-coated or coated on one or both sides. Un-coated material is to be used in enclosed applications only
♦ Pick resistant urethane faces can be used in applications where vandalism is a concern
♦ Sizes available in 1/4” increments

♦ Has been tested to ensure compliance with various building design codes. The product carries ratings in compliance with U.L. testing as well as ISO Certification schedule for a two-hour rating
♦ The FB system has the ability to protect the application with a 50% lateral shear capacity
♦ Rolls of the product are accompanied by galvanized, bent metal flanges, which securely anchor the stainless steel and ceramic fiber fire blanket package

 Ultra Block Diagram
UB-Series

♦ Adaptable to many applications and can be used with most of the EMS expansion joint products 
♦ The Ultra Block (R) (UB-Series) fire stop system is a pre-engineered, patented, flexible textile fiberglass roll material with a fiberglass matte facing, containing approximately 30% by weight unexpanded vermiculite which expands when exposed to heat
♦ When used together with an approved sealant, it will provide a 2, 3 or 4 hour fire rated joint system as designated by design configuration
♦ When exposed to fire on the caulked and un-caulked side, there is no passage of destructive heat to the sealant bead on the opposite side
♦ Tested to various standards including UBC, BOCA, SBCCI, ASTM and NFPA.

CLOSE-UP OF GUTTER SYSTEM FG-Series ♦ The FG-Series (flexible gutter) system is ideal for rehabilitation work; quickly put into place under expansion joint locations to direct water away from vehicles and occupied space below
♦ This system incorporates a 60-mil. neoprene sheet, which is securely anchored to the concrete structure under an expansion joint system
♦ The membrane can be attached to the underside of a joint location using metal retainer bars, or it can be attached directly to the side walls of the expansion joint opening for larger expansion joints
♦ Maintains its flexibility in temperatures ranging from -40° F to 220° F
♦ Rolls of material are available in 50 LF lengths and may be spliced to accommodate larger runs
